Q3 2026 Construction Update — Cormont at Deer Valley
This quarter marked major progress across the site, from Tower 1’s topping out to the start of vertical construction on Tower 2 and continued momentum on Tower 5 and the west parking structure.
Tower 1
Tower 1 topped off on July 13, 2026, marking the moment concrete work reached its highest point and the most significant milestone since groundbreaking. With the structure complete, construction moved into the exterior enclosure and interior finish phase. Roofing got underway in August and remained on track for completion by the end of September. The building’s weather-sealing layer was installed on Level 3, the first glass exterior panels began arriving and being installed, and waterproofing progressed on the upper floors while exterior wall prep continued on Level 4. Inside, crews framed interior walls and ran electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems through several floors. Plumbing lines have passed inspection, and the building is now being prepped for insulation.
Tower 2
Vertical construction began this quarter, with crews pouring over 500 cubic yards of concrete for the first footings in September, keeping foundation work moving forward.
Tower 5
Following its early-May crane erection, Tower 5’s vertical construction continued to accelerate through the quarter. Crews poured columns and footings, placed concrete, and installed steel reinforcement and support systems. Foundation prep continues, including drilling the deep support piles that anchor the building.
West Parking & Site Work
The first section of the west parking lid is complete, with site work continuing around it. Crews advanced utility work, including water, storm drainage, and underground systems, and moved into pouring shear walls and preparing the plaza deck slab that will connect the garage to Tower 5.
Finishes & Community
Cormont’s model room construction progressed this quarter, guiding aesthetic reviews of the finishes, fixtures, and details that will carry through every residence and corridor at Cormont. The team, in partnership with Jacobsen Construction, also celebrated the workforce behind the project’s construction with a luncheon on Friday, July 10.
