Construction Update

Cormont is rising, and this quarter proved it. On July 13, Tower 1 topped off, reaching its full structural height and marking one of the most significant milestones since groundbreaking. It’s the culmination of a quarter that saw concrete teams climb steadily from the foundation to the top floor, following the completion of the below-grade podium substructure that will house the parking garage and major mechanical systems for the community.

Tower 5 also picked up pace. Its crane went up in early May, and vertical construction has been accelerating across the site ever since. Below the plaza, the first section of the west parking lid remains complete, giving an early sense of the ground-level experience taking shape above it, and interior framing and plumbing continued to progress on Tower 1’s lower floors throughout the quarter.
